Lawton Dual Shortlisted for Award at the ACR News Awards

Lawton's Dual, an innovative range of mixed Copper / Aluminium tubing has been selected as one of the finalists in the "product of the year" category at this years ACR Awards 2012 to be held in Birmingham in March.

Lawton's Managing Director, Oliver Lawton is delighted to have been selected as a finalist and is confident that the innovative approach and benefits that the Dual tubing offers will put it in a good position to win the category saying "we have high hopes for the Dual Product as it offers installers of ACR units a real alternative."

New Lawton’s Brazing Rods Join Air Conditioning Market

Spring 2011 saw the successful launch of Lawton’s DUAL Tube. This Winter sees the launch of even easier ways to join Lawton’s DUAL, making it an even more obvious choice for air conditioning installation.

Metallurgically bonding an inner copper layer to an outer aluminium layer is what made DUAL such an innovative product. Making the product lighter and more cost effective meant that it is easier to transport, and reduces installation costs without compromising strength or quality.

Refrigeration Revolution

Lawton K65 is a unique new product being launched exclusively in the UK by Lawton Tubes.  It has been designed specifically to cope with the new generation of high pressure, environmentally friendly CO2 refrigeration systems.  Including a 2% iron content in its make-up has allowed Lawton to introduce a tube that has a greatly reduced wall thickness compared with traditional copper tube, yet is strong enough to withstand the increased pressures required by modern refrigeration systems.
